Hum Nasheen’ organises Awareness programme on Dengue and distributed dress materials to villagers

Sunabeda: 19/09/22: An awareness programme on Dengue has been organized by ‘Hum Nasheen’-a women’s voluntary organisation of Sunabeda at Badaguda village of Dasmantpur Block of Koraput district. Shaheda Parween, President of Hum Nasheen and Life Member of Indian Red Cross society, participated in the programme as the keynote speaker and discussed specifically how to protect oneself from Dengue. Apart from this, she advised to keep clean the surroundings and prevent the breeding of mosquitoes by keeping the village drains and the environment clean. On this occasion, the volunteers distributed pants and shirts to the male persons of the village, while clothes, toys, biscuits and chocolates were distributed to the children. Women and girls were also given some daily necessities. Senior office bearers of Ham Nasheen Anisha Rumi, Shohra Shahab, Sabana Begum, Afsana Bibi played an active role in the said programme while Sheikh Ibrahim,Tanveer Alam, Tausif Alam,Sheikh Kamruddin Sushant Khosla and Madan Naik supported in conducting the programme. Surya Narayan Padhi compared the programme while Naveen Kumar Chowdhury proposed the vote of thanks.
