Bribe for Housing (!)

Paralakhemundi:For simple housing poverty stricken backward tribal community has to bargain bribe(!).
The pandora box opened at Sialilati panchayat of R.Udayagiri block of Gajapati district at Puipani village of Sialilati panchayat.
About 28 households shattered by last Titli.At that time they were at rescue in school. Now under straw cottage & terpulin they are staying. Those victims several times requested to get benefit under housing scheme but turned heed. Hardly their grievances reached at district & block administration & even panchayat. Rather block officials bargained Rs. 2000 & chicks from each family. But they are yet to get full pledged houses, when crores of funds allocated but in such interior part of Gajapati district those innocent victims still on statuesque to get housing scheme. Such turmoil situation questioned on 5T action. Rather poor deceived as poor & their magnitude of livelihoods still on despair.
Mostly those families depend on bamboo processing & chips used for road work. Hardly are they quantified from agriculture sector. Being landless they are on dire straits under poverty. They pray before administration for housing to ensure better livings.
