World First Aid Day observed in ADAV High School

Sunabeda : 11/09/22: World First Aid Day has been observed by the Junior Red Cross Unit of ADAV High School of Sunabeda. To mark the occasion an awareness programme has been organized in the school premises. Head Master Manoranjan Pradhan presided over the meeting and discussed about the importance of first aid. Dr MK Kete and Dr Parthasarathy Sethi, Senior Medical Officers, HAL Hospital,Sunabeda participated in the program as keynote speakers and explained that first aid is an important fundamental skill that can save the precious lives. On this occasion expert doctors have explained to the students and teachers regarding different types of first aid techniques during various accidental situations. They have also educated the children regarding personal hygiene and inculcating other healthy habits to avoid falling sick. The program was moderated by School Junior Red Cross Counselor Shaheda Parween. She has also elaborated on the theme of World First Aid Day 2022 ‘ Lifelong First Aid Learning. Teacher Kshitish Chandra Rana proposed the vote of thanks. Members of Junior Red Cross presented Red Cross motivational songs. Senior school teacher Raghunath Behera, Niharika Mishra, Sharmishtha Nayak, Nidhi Tripathi, Tapas Ranjan Malik, Keshav Chandra Bhatt helped in organizing the programme.
