Raid by STF Odisha against Storage of Illegal Coal

Bhubaneswar:Basing on intelligence input regarding storage of huge stolen Coal, STF conducted raids at Banamalipur under Fategarh Police Station jurisdiction in Nayagarh District with the help of Nayagarh district Police on 07.09.2022.
During raid as many as 72.5 MT of Coal, 02 numbers vehicle loaded with coal and other incriminating materials were seized and one accused person namely Umakanta sahoo S/o. Gadadhar Sahoo of Banamalipur PS. Fategarh Dist. Nayagarh was apprehended. In this connection a case was registered at Fategarh Police Station vide PS Case No. 173/2022 U/s. 379/411/413/120(B) IPC r/w. 21 MMDR Act. Investigation is on.
