Bada Bazar Cops Seized Gutkha Stock Point in Berhampur City

Berhampur: The Bada Bazar Police,Berhampur on Sunday busted an illegal gutkha (tobacco) stock point at Ganesh Market road in Berhampur and arrested the persons involved in this connection, informed Berhampur BC Pati SDPO city. The arrested accused has been identified as habitual black marketierst of Berhampur.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the Bada Bazar police conducted raid at the illegal stock point at Ganesh Market and police have seized huge quantity fake tobacco products worth lakhs of rupees.According to Inspector-in-Charge Prashant Bhupati,”we have seized huge quantum of gutkha packets some machinery and chemicals for the production of illegal gutkhas.The raid is further underway, he added.
