Two Narcotic Drug Peddkkefs arrested

On the basis of intelligence input, a joint operation was conducted by STF, BBSR and Khordha district Police on 14.04.2022 near Khordha-Jatnai by pass overbridge, Mukundaprasad, Khordha against illegal possession of Narcotic Drugs and apprehended two accused persons namely Sudhir Lima S/o. late Musia Lima of Tikamala PS. R Udayagiri Dist. G ajapati and Sk Akash S/o. Sk Manjur of Bada Basti , Pipili PS. Pipili Dist. Puri.
During search Ganja weighing 52 kg and other incriminating materials were recovered & seized from their possession. A case has been registered at Khordha Town Police Station for necessary legal action. This refers to Khordha Town Police Statinon Case No. 182/2022 U/s 20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of NDPS Act 1985. Investigation is on.
Special drive against narcotic drugs is continuing. Since 2020, STF has seized more than 50 Kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin, 202 Gram Cocaine and more than 92 quintals of Ganja/Marijuna and arrested more than 139 drug dealers/peddlers.
