An unfortunate incident took place in Chikapar village of Lower Goluru village under Pattangi block of Koraput district in which five children were killed within a month. It is a matter of concern and sadness to know. According to reports, Gemel Ramarao’s baby girl died at the age of 6 months on March 5, his daughter-in-law, Marie Sama’s baby girl died on March 6, March 3, and Sundar Rao’s baby son died on March 15. Two children, Marie Naidu and Gemel Lengu, were killed, according to villagers. A team is expected to arrive in the village today to assess the situation and report to the CDMO. The seven-to-eight-month-old baby is suffering from the disease, according to villagers. Five children have died in the past few days, according to unconfirmed sources. “A team of health officials has arrived in the village today, and when they return, the truth will be clarified and the team will be on their way,” he said.
