PRI Elected Members Felt Itching on Chair

Paralakhemundi-At Narayanpur panchayat office of Rayagada block of Gajapati district; while newly elected PRI members sarpanch, samiti member, ward members occupied their seats they felt itching. Immediately they turned up outside of panchayat office & towards dharna with crowd.

They found tragia (otherwise called ‘Bichuati’ in Odia) leaves at surrounding areas.

Immediately BDO,Raja Ranjit Pratap Bal and IIC Gobinda Gauda of Rayagada reached at spot. Entire area got cleaned.

hey compromised with elected members and crowd.BDO instructed to fix CCTV in office and use a new lock to Sarpanch. Perhaps this has been done by defeated candidates to wince the elected representatives. Later on all matters restored as usual with office work.
