ROBBERY PLAN WAS FAILED BY THE KORAPUT POLICE.

Koraput: In the middle of the night, 3 youth came on a yamaha motorcycle and looted Rs 2,200 from a borewell truck driver. The incident took place in Koraput town police station area. In the Koraput Town police station area, three youths, Sanjit Khara, of tikira sahi, PhD Colony’s Shubham Mallick and
Subash Chandra Nayak, of kanaka Durga Mandir sahi were stopped by a borewell vehicle at around 12.30pm last night. The driver was spotted bleeding while walking near a bus stand. Police found an assault rifle, a machete and ammunition in Huff’s truck, and a search about the incident turned up in final stage. Petrolling vehicle caught that 3 youths in the middle of that night. Police have arrested 3 people in connection with the robery and then forward with case no 57/22 under sec.394. Town police sub-inspector Sudarshan adhikary, who is investigating the incident, said mobile and money were seized from the accused.
