Controversy rise for PS Chairman Election.

Koraput:The campaign for the presidency has begun with tussle. Elections for the block chairman will be held on Mar-12 after the results of both zones in the Koraput block of Koraput district were announced.  Even after the election results are announced, the election heat does not stop.  There are 14 committee members in 2 zones of Koraput.  With the support of four committee members, it is possible for the chairperson to step down.  The Congress has won the presidency four times in a row in the past.  “Once again, there will be no problem in taking the Panchayat Samiti  President,” said MLA Taraprasad Bahinipati.  However, this time around, the BJD will not give up on the 7-7 support and the Koraput Panchayat Samiti will take over in time, said district president Ishwar Panigrahi.  On the other hand, Congress-backed Namita Majhi, who has chaired the last two terms, said she had 8 to 10 backed committee members. Voting for the post will take place on the 12th of this month, so it remains to be seen who the elephant will pour its head on.
