BSF IG visits Ramgiri in Koraput District

Koraput: The BSF IG informed the Maoists that they should leave the Maoists and join the mainstream of society with the development trend of the state government. The Maoist insurgency is lower than in the past, and the BSF has to sacrifice 17 lives. BSF IG Satish Chandra Budakuti in Koraput district. Mr Budakutti said the Odisha police and the BSF’s strategy super class were slowly achieving success. BSF IG Satishchandra Budakuti inspected the situation in various parts of the district on the border with the Naxalites.
Today, at a large gathering of villagers and students at Ramgiri, the IG was accompanied by officials. . BSF is deployed here to help the police and the local administration and to promote a sense of security among the people living in the area. The IG emphasized on more cooperation from the locals and reassured them of the BSF’s commitment to eradicate Naxalism. The IG encouraged young people to complete their education, stay healthy and fit.
A dog show was organized by the BSF at Ramgiri on the occasion. The role of dogs in the security forces, especially in the BSF, was informed. Forest department staff, police, Gopal High School teachers, Ramagiri students, Sarpanch of Ramgiri, Pendapada and PRI members of the area were present at the dog show. The program ended with a cultural program.
