Misappropriation on Govt Schemes Barred Election at 4 Villages

Paralakhemundi-At Engarsing panchayat of Rayagada block of Gajapati district 4 villages boycotted panchayat election. On Sunday election held at Rayagada block where 21 panchayats will elect their candidates. At booth number 1,2.3,4 not a single vote casted. At Upper Jallo, Middle Jallo, School sahi & Tala Jallo 474 voters boycotted. They demanded that misappropriation on various government schemes for vulnerable sections particularly tribal communities. Various schemes looted which knocked at block authority & elected representatives but no result found. So they decided to boycott panchayat election on a mass.
