Koraput:From child education to voter awareness, the mobile network is in full swing.  Normal life seems to have come to a standstill without a mobile network.  “The rescue squad wasn’t called for him,” she told the Associated Press.  For the general public, who have been suffering from road, water and health problems for years, there is a lack of mobile networks.  So, with all these problems, the mobile network is in demand.  The slogan “No network, no vote” is now commonplace.

There is no network, no vote.  Fundaguda villagers of Giriligumma panchayat in Dashmantapur block of Koraput district have given such a slogan.  Even after 72 years of independence, they are still deprived of access to mobile services.  Surrounded by forested hills, mobile services have not yet reached the area.  In the current panchayat elections, people have decided to boycott the polls due to many problems.  Earlier, residents of the area had lodged a written complaint with the video, the district attorney and the legislator about the network problem.  But only the empty promises are found.  Only time will tell what the politicians will do to win the hearts and minds of the electorate.
