Training of Anganwadi Workers in Raising Promote Children

Koraput, Nov 30: Anganwadi workers hav been trained by the district security unit on the occasion of the Monthly Child Awareness Day at the local Skills Development Center. Anganwadi workers from Koraput, Semiliguda, Dashmantapur and Sunabeda blocks were present at the training program, which was chaired by District Child Protection Officer Rajshree Das. According to the district child protection officer, various treatment is provided in the villages through the Anganwadi workers to protect the pregnant mothers. Anganwadi workers’ birth records are available in villages. If it is necessary to give birth or exchange children after birth, the law should not be illegal. Anganwadi workers will go to the villages to warn the people about this. The training camp was attended by DSWO Bidulata Patra, PONIC Balakrishna Mallick, DCPO Legal Low Probation Officer Navakrishna Mandal.
