Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita demanded for the Kotia Development Agency

Koraput, Oct 03: Odisha needs to speed up development work by setting up a Kotia Development Agency for the overall development of 21 villages in the Kotia panchayat in the Koraput district on the border between Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.  Andhra Pradesh government officials and political leaders have been angry that Andhra Pradesh has not been given a strong answer by the Odisha government to stop them from running in the polls, starting with elections in Odisha.

Arriving in Koraput this morning, Ms. Sadangi spoke to various sections of the people about the current problems in Koraput and the status of various improvement work being done by the Central Government.  He said there was a need to recruit teachers to teach Oriya and local languages ​​in all 21 villages in Kotia and work for the social and economic development of the people there.  The state government has promised to cooperate with the central government in any way it can.  Aparajita has demanded that the state government take immediate steps to address the drainage problem in the cities and prevent the flooding of the Kolab and other reservoirs.  Vikramdev College in Jaipur has said it is unfortunate that the university has not yet been recognized and will hold talks with the central government on the drought at a central university in Sunabeda.

Hundreds of BJP workers joined the procession today to meet Mrs. Aparajita, and thousands of women and men with whom she had relations during her tenure as Koraput district magistrate came to meet spontaneously and reminisce about the old days.
