Maa Gruha Indispensable Shelter on Gulab for Maternity Care

Paralakhemundi-“Gulab” hoisted jinx where lives paralyzed of interior villages. Still administration left no leaves to tackle various interventions started from rescue rehabilitation from vulnerable zone villages. Still civil societies too have torrid time to join to rescue those maternity care women from those interior villages both accessible & inaccessible corners.
SWWS & PEACE both leading NGOs handling Maa Gruhas at Rayagada & Nuagada/Mohana blocks respectively have torrid times to bring those pregnant women from their villages to their shelters.Round the clock their health expertise staff looking after starting from nutrition food to care & management before refer for hospital.As a holistic approach time bound fooding & their health care too have been taken & on extreme cases health staff from nearest CHCs too called.
By SWWS since declaration of turmoil-expected Gulab cyclone, their staff brought those conceived women from interior villages like Pachidia, SLoba, Kureising, Amarling,Jhaliasahi, Patilada, Limarsing from Lailai, Gangabada, Marlaba & Jalanga panchayats. 9 such carrying covered women are brought out at their Dombapur Maa Gruha of Rayagada block.DPM of NHM Soumyarani Gauda, CDPO,ICDS Supervisor visited the shelter & enquired details from those women & staff.
Similarly by PEACE at Mohana 14 pregnant mothers brought by their staff to their Maa Gruha where one woman referred to CHC Mohana. Similar from Nuagada block 6 women brought to their Khajuripada Maa Gruha shelter for all care & management. PHEO & team of Khajuripada CHC visited & checked all situations. This indeed a great coincidence & convergence to support health department to foster all amicable supports for better care & safe delivery of every mother since years together.
