DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED BY STF OF ODISHA

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch arrested a person on charges of illegal trade of Narcotic Drugs from Khurdha district and forwarded him to the court.
In a release Mr. Pankaj,DIG,Crime said that, acting on intelligence inputs, the STF personnel has detected illegal trade of Narcotic drugs on Sunday at Khurdha town as a result one accused was arrested who identified as Rajkishore Sundarray @ Gutu the resident of village Gurujung of Khurdha district.
The area was completely rounded up by our team and with a seizure of .Brown sugar weighing 12.33 gms and other incriminating articles from his possession.
During 2020 till date STF has conducted raids in various places like Puri,Balasore,Angul,Khurdha,Pipili,Dhenkanal,Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak and detected 11 cases against drug peddlers.STF arrested 22 persons and seized total 874.3 gms of Brown Sugar, OPIUM ( Aphima) 326.45 gms with cash 13,21,000/- plus. One Maruti Car, Eight Motor Bikes Bank accounts and other incriminating materials.
In this connection a case has been registered at Khurdha Police station for necessary legal action.
