Graduate Engineer nab by STF;Link illegal trade of Narcotic Drugs

Bhubaneswar: On the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted by team of STF, BBSR near Kumabasta Patrol Pump, Khordha against illegal trade of Narcotic Drugs and apprehended one accused person namely Manoranjan Das ( a B Tech. Graduate ) of Gurujanga, Khordha.
During search Brown Sugar weighing 01 Kg 034 gram and other incriminating materials were recovered & seized from his possession. The accused persons could not produce any valid authority in support of possession of such contraband materials, for which the accused person was arrested and will be forwarded to the court of Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Khordha. In this connection STF PS Case No.31 dated 03.09.2021 U/s. 21(c)/29 NDPS Act, 1985 was registered. Investigation is on.
Since 2020, STF in the special drive against narcotic drugs has seized more than 39 Kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin and more than 86 quintals 81 kg (86.81) of Ganja /Marijuna and arrested more than 100 drug dealers/peddlers.
