Dearth of 108 Ambulance at DHH
Odishabarta
Paralakhemundi:At District head quarter hospital, Paralakhemundi, it is found minimum support through 108 ambulance service is lacking. For one accident victim by the help of police staff rescued & admitted at DHH. Recently near Indian Oil petrol pump of Forest gate road 2 bikes collided each other, where those riders injured. At that spot one person named Satyanarayan Mishra immediately stopped over & called 108 ambulance but delayed to get. Moreover he had been informed that ambulance was at Kashinagar, 26 kms from district head quarter. Such reply tarnished him, while asked to manager of ambulance services Pradip Kumar Ram 14 ambulance at services. For DHH one ambulance remained at service. For transportation to Brahmapur & elsewhere, other ambulances from nearest block CHCs called. When crores of rupees pumped for ambulances but not at all supporting at district head quarter services a pity for public.
