Raid Conducted by STF & Three Accused Persons Detained

Bhubaneswar:On the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted by team of STF, Bhubaneswar near Khordha Bus stand, Khordha against illegal trade of Narcotic Drugs and apprehended three accused persons namely 1) Aftab @ Md Saiyaz of Mastan Road, PS. Cantonment Dist. Cuttack, 2) Muna @ Sk Kamruddin of Chakhandi, Purunabazar , Dist. Bhadrak and 3) Sourav Pattanaik of Palla , At/Pr. Gada Khordha, Dist. Khordha.
During search Brown Sugar weighing 01 Kg 265 gram and other incriminating materials were recovered & seized from their possession. The accused persons could not produce any valid authority in support of possession of such contraband materials, for which the accused persons were arrested and will be forwarded to the court of District & Sessions Judge, Khordha. In this connection STF PS Case No.28 dated 12.08.2021 U/s. 21(c)/29 NDPS Act, 1985 was registered. Investigation is on.
Since 2020, STF in the special drive against narcotic drugs has seized more than 36 Kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin and more than 74 quintals 38 kg ( 7438 ) of Ganja /Marijuna and arrested more than 100 drug dealers/peddlers.
