Government-jobs be compulsory for one of the eligible family-members of corona-victims
Bureau,Odishabarta
Delhi:There should be a uniform rule devised with consent of central and all state governments whereby government-job may be offered to one of the eligible family-members of any employee of central or state governments and all bodies and undertakings under them who might have become a corona-victim. It will not affect financially any government because it will just be filling a vacancy caused by death of any employee through one family-member of the deceased.
Such a scheme is more practical in comparison to big rupees one crore corona-relief each to family-members of employees of Delhi Government having died due to corona making it a publicity-stunt with state Chief Minister getting photo-sessions giving relief-cheque to the families. This is a big burden on state-exchequer funded by hard-earned money of tax-payers which is not available to families of ordinary members of public having died of corona.
Delhi government is also guilty of vote-bank politics by giving one-time cash relief of rupees 5000 only to auto-drivers and construction-workers as if there is no other section of society having lost earning during corona-lockdowns. Evidently auto-drivers were lured because auto-rickshaws are best mode of moving poll-publicity with auto-rickshaws desired to carry posters of ruling party in any next elections. Likewise construction-workers were given such one-time cash relief with an eye on votes of population migrated from other states. Even one-time cash-relief of merely negligible amount of rupees 500 by central government could be of no practical help even though it might have cost heavily to central public-exchequer.
