2 Orphan Children Rescued by Dist. Administration

Paralakhemundi:On a tragic incident 2 minor children became orphan by missing both father & mother. An information received from Rayagada block head quarter of Christian street of Gajapati district,where Muna Paspureddy(14) & Sunil Paspureddy(12) lost their mother on 2015 & on last Saturday they lost their bread earner father Tophan Paspureddy. As a result both were stranded from all supports. Meanwhile childline center coordinator Nageswar Choudhry reached at spot with other staff TSureshkumar & Raju Sabar. They rescued those 2 kids and brought to CWC district head quarter. They stayed at childline at night  and they will be handed over to Nisan Salum centre, quipped by Choudhry. They are to be registered under Asirwad scheme as instructed by Lingaraj Panda, Collector Gajapati.

Due to heavy rainfall the family lost their home. Instead to support bread for children,Tofan used to engage on wages. At restshed they were staying after demise of Tofan’s wife.

So later on his health deteriorated & unable to move for food & earnings. Suddenly on last Saturday he lost his breath. Those aloofed kids had no resources even to cremate their father. As a philanthropic gesture some local people arranged his cremation. Later on they demanded for those 2 children rehabilitation.
