Sambalpur:On the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by the S.O. Gobinda Bhoi @ Bhue, G.P.E.O., Turekela Block, under Bolangir District.His (1) Residential double storey building located at Kantabanji Town (Patel Colony) Dist- Bolangir, (2) residential building located at Village- Dhandamunda, Bolangir, (3) office chamber of Gobinda Bhoi located at Turekela Block,Bolangir, (4) photo shop of his younger son Prateek Bhoi located at Kantabanji Town, Bolangir, (5)office chamber of his elder son Sri Abinash Bhoi, located at Muribahal Block, Bolangir were simultaneously searched today i.e. on 23.07.2021 by the Officers of Vigilance Sambalpur Division, Sambalpur on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bolangir to find out assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
During search, the following movable and immovable assets found in possession of Gobinda Bhoi @ Bhue, G.P.E.O., Turekela Block, Titilagarh Sub- Division under Bolangir District in his names and in the name of his family members traced so far are as follows:-Immovable assets like one double storey building, 10 nos. of plot at Bolangir worth of Rs. 95,96,000.00.
Besides the above, movable assets like, costly household articles, furniture’s, electrical/electronic gadgets, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs.17,05,157.00, one Mahindra KUV100 Car, one Mahindra Marazzo Car, one Royal Enfield Motor Cycle, one Suzuki Burgman Scooty, one Yamaha Motor Cycle worth Rs.26,58,834.00, Articles found at Photo Shop worth Rs.1,40,750.00, deposits in different Banks Rs.16,47,154.00 and hard cash of Rs.32,960.00 etc. have been detected.
The total movable and immovable assets so far detected during house search is calculated at Rs.1,57,80,855.00 (One crore seventy one lakhs twenty six thousand seven hundred and fifty seven) only approximately, besides premium deposits in various insurance companies amounting to Rs.8,44,612.00 has been traced.
