Criminal with Illegal Weapons Nab by Kalahandi Police

Kalahandi. During routine patrolling of M.Rampur Police caught hold one police wanted criminal in the morning of 20th Tuesday said Kalahandi Sp M. Shravan Vivek.
As per the source the police patrolling team at M.Rampur PS found that one bike coming with high speed from Mohangiri towards Pajibahal and on being asked by police to stop the biker ran away towards jungle with the bag. While Police team tried to catch him suddenly the criminal threw bomb and brandished a pistol and threatened to kill the police personnel. Despite their personnel safety, police showed great courage police restraint and chased and nabbed the accused person as said by Kalahandi S.P. On identification it is known that the accused person namely Hemanta Sahu ( 20) S/o- Debraj Sahu of vill- Pandakamal under M.Rampur PS.
Police seized one pistol, live bomb, cartridge, Bhujali ( big knife) and used bike OR 08 M 3632 and 12 ID liquor pouch from the accused person Hemant Sahu.
It is also known that the accused person is wanted by the m.Rampur PS case no. 120/2021 U/s 341/323/379/ 506/34 IPC, case no. 72/2020 U/s- 294/323/354/506/34 IPC r.w.Sec 25 Arms Act. and Bhawanipatna Sadar PS case no. 91/2018 U/s- 457/380 IPC and Baliguda ( Kandhamal Dist.) case no. 146/2019 U/S- 452/341/342/323/392/394/354/506/34 IPC r.w. sec 25 of Arms Act C.S no. 81 dtd. 26.05.2020 as informed by Police.
