District Deaf Association hold Condolence meeting

Sunabeda: Koraput District Association of the Deaf organised a Condolence meeting to pay homage to its Joint Secretary  Prabeena  Kumar Sahu , who breathed his last on 24/05/2021 at Jeypore Covid Hospital due to COVID-19 complications.

Advisor and Social Activists Dr Uma Shankar Prasad Patra,  Gobinda Ballav Padhi, President  Shaik Ibrahim , Gen – Secretary  Chintamani Prusty, Joint Seçretary, Brahma Charan Gouda, Interpreter Meena Kumari Prusty and other office bearers along with all  members of KDAD attended the meeting and offered floral tributes to late Prabeena Kumar Sahu.Speaking on the occasion many speakers highlighted the multifacted personality of Mr Prabeena and recalled the profound moments spent with him.

The Association has decided to conduct  a Volleyball Tournament in his memory. The Association also urged Govt to  sanction an amount of Rs four lakhs as an ex gratia to the family of late Prabeena Sahu.A two minute  Silent Prayer was held in respect of the departed pure Soul.
