MANOHAR PARRIKAR TOO DESERVED PADMA VIBHUSHAN

Delhi: List of Padma awardees for the year 2020 once again included some unknown but most deserving faces like a Muslim engaged in cremation of unclaimed bodies that too according to religious faith of the deceased for last so many years having cremated over 25000 bodies till now since he lost his young son about 27 years back.

But it was surprising that former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar was honoured with Padma Bhushan while other departed Union Ministers Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley were honoured with Padma Vibhushan. It will be better that a slight modification may be notified by Union Home Ministry whereby name of Manohar Parrikar may be shifted from list of Padma Bhushan to Padma Vibhushan.
