Departmental Engineers’ Drilled after Waterlogged News Blast

Paralakhemundi:2 days back heavy rain paralysed all communications & swept down movements of life.That forecasted in various news & electronic medias.Better late than never by the instructions of Collector Anupam Saha,led by PD DRDA,Anam Charan Patra,Executive Engineer of PWD visited waterlogged areas.
Due to heavy rain at Parala Model Police Station,Excise department office too marooned with dust & garbages.Besides that various domestic areas also drowned & disrupted communications.
Due to road expansion from Forest office junction to Ranipeta junction via market & new busstand,those encroached areas lifted.For which stones, bricks & other brickbats stored at both sides of road.As a result due to heavy rain waterlogged in main road & various streets of town.While asked on such drastic situations authrorities covered their mistakes rather hoodwinked on electricity & public health departments.That remarked lack of coordinations among line departments and exposed their callousness.Today PD DRDA Anam Charan Patra, Tehsildar Achyutananda Jani, Executive Engineer of PWD Ashok Das, Addl. Executive Engineer PHeD Swagat Nayak had a whirlwind visit on those waterlogged areas to analyse on sabotage.It is decided to extract those broken trees,restart of incomplete construction work,shifting of electricity poles;to be taken as top priorities
