Destitute Old Woman Rescued & Under Treatment

Berhampur:At Gajapati nagar 7th lane an old woman was showering with heat sun, rain & cold wave since long days. Nobody turned up her rather afraid of Corona even distanced her too.
A Samaritan-cum- journalist & livestock lover Lalatendu Choudhry rushed at her and obliged all diligence support for destitute old woman. He knocked his woes at Collectors, Sub Collector, Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation Commissioner (BeMCC) on Sunday around noon hour.
Members of Team Clean City and some media persons came forward and joined hands with Laltendu.
District administration felt his obligations and for the sincere effort by the Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Sidheswar Baliram Bondare immediately sent a team with ambulance for immediate referral at MKCG Medical College.
Information received from V. Kirthee Vasan,Sub Collector that with immediate effect her treatment being started.
Choudhry lauded and conveyed gratitude to administration’s fast cooperation for vulnerable woman.
