Ganjam:Basing on reliable information regarding preparation of duplicate foreign liquor today on Sunday around 5 Am Excise team conducted joint raid with the officers and staff of Ganjam and Berhampur Excise district.
During the raid the Cats Eye of the team have seized contraband excisable articles 1.Mc.Dwells.No 1 Whisky kept in 33 jar ibags in each bag contg.100 btls of 180 ml total 594 ltrs, 2.Imperial Blue Whisky kept in 4 Jari bags in each bag contg 100 btls of 180 ml total 72 ltrs,3.Royal Stag Whisky kept in 10 Jari bags in each bag contg 100 btls of 180 ml each total 180 ltrs which total count comes duplicate foreign liquor 846 ltrs.)4.Homeopathic Medicine 540 bottles of each contg.450ml(Rectified Spirit) having alcohol 90% total 243 Ltrs.5.Pressing Machine 3 nos.6.Raw Caramel 1 ltrs 7.Diluted Caramel 20 ltrs.8.Excise Adhesive labels 808 nos.9.Company labels 7636 nos,10.Cork (cap) 5700 nos,11.Empty glass Bottles 1440 nos.
The team pin pointed at New Makarjhal near Poultry Farm under Hinjilicut Excise Station area.
In connection 3 persons those identified as Sunil Kumar Sahu Age 26 yrs of Khandia kumti Sahi Berhampur,Milan Sahu Age 24 yrs of Borigaon and Sontosh Kumar Gauda Age 21 yrs of Khairabetha arrested by OIC,Hinjilicut Excise Station and SI of Excise striking force,Chatrapur.
