Maoists Blasted Improvised Explosives upon the Police

Kalahandi: Based on reliable information on 22-4-2021 an Anti Naxal operation was launched in M Rampur Police station area of Kalahandi district bordering Kandamal.
According to SP, Kalahandi, Dr.Shravan Kumar On Friday forenoon the police team comprising SOG & DVF came under heavy firing of Maoists. In order to protect themselves having left with no other option Police team took safe position and fired back in self defence.
Maoists blasted Improvised Explosives upon the Police team. One Maoist is neutralised. Live ammunition, Maoist literature and incriminating camp materials were also seized. Further operations are intensified in the area.
