Deer Died by Dog Bite (!)

Gajapati,(Mohana):Recent cacophony of spread in fire in forest like Boudh & Similipal tarnished not only flora & fauna of forest zone but living of wild animals at sanctuary also worst. The factual is at evening time mostly those animals use to come for drinking water at evening near river area.
On Friday evening a deer while came to drink at Atharnala river near Mohana,few dogs surrounded that buck & injured,too,with bleeding. After getting such news Forest staff led by Kalpana Nayak rushed near that river & immediately taken that deer to nearest livestock centre for treatment. At leg & various parts of that deer injured by dogs bite.
Dr.Birendra Panda VAS of Mohana tried to cure and handed over to forest department. Unfortunately on Saturday morning that deer died and after post mortem last rites with flame done by forest staff.
