Off Liquor Shops Signaled to Applicants Ensured 7.48 Crs. Revenue

Paralakhemundi: Notification through tender placed for opening of 19 liquor off shops at various places in Gajapati district on first phase.

As per the  notification issued vide the  number 1029/Il/Ex-30/2021, 26-02-2021, for Gajapati district. Total 767 applications received for 19 shops. So to make neutral selection procedure through lottery draw taken at Collectorate.

Accordingly for those selected 19 shops Excise department could ensure 7.48 Crs. revenue collection.Tight security cordoned surrounding area of Collectorate during drawn of lottery time. Those names called as winners through lottery excited with smile, where those vanquished applicants drew flank with plight.

So, this time being border like Gosani and Kashinagar,applicants from Andhra Pradesh also applied as they could guess demand of sale more on border areas. For the first time they could be successful to open their liquor business at Odisha.
