Candidates Dare to Produce Double Board Certificate

Berhampur: During the ongoing Army Recruitment rally at Rangeilunda Air strip by the Indian Army, the Army Recruitment Office Gopalpur in Ganjam detected 07 candidates who were found   possessing 02 certificates of different Boards for 10th standard with different date of birth for each candidate.

As suspicion arises the ARO reported the matter at Goplapur police station under Berhampur police district.

 According to District police HQ, release during investigation it was found that these 07 candidates had applied earlier for the Indian Army job with the certificate issued by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.But when they failed to get the job in the Army as  they have exceeded the age limit ,they got themselves admitted in NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling, an organisation of Govt. Of India, MHRD) and got the 2nd Certificate for the 10th standard but with different Date of Birth i.e. lesser age than to BSE, Odisha Certificate.

 As the same candidate had two different certificates with different Date of Birth they were arrested and forwarded.

 They were identified as;K.Bhimaraju Reddy (23) Village,Narendrapur,Chamakhandi PS,Ganjam, Kanhu Charan Sahu (27), Village,Humuri PS,Chatrapur,Ganjam, R. Laxminarayan Reddy (20), Village,Basanaputi.Chamakhandi PS,Ganjam, Rangala Prakash,(25) Village,Hatipadu,Gopalpur PS,Ganjam,Surakala Kalyan Kumar (20), Village New Golabandha,Gopalpur PS,Ganjam, S. Dharamaraju (25), Village,Bikrampur,Gopalpur PS,Ganjam and  R. Raghunath Reddy (25), Village,Bikrampur,Gopalpur PS,Ganjam.

On the basis of the report from Army Recruitment Office the Gopalpur Police registered cases vide No-60/21 dated. 04.04.2021 u/s-420/467/468/471/34 IPC.

The further investigation is ON by the IIC, Gopalpur.
