TWO BOATS COLLIDE IN GOPALPUR SEA DUE TO HIGH TIDE & MIST

Gopalpur On Sea: Eighteen fishermen fell in sea and went missing after two boats collided off Gopalpur coast in Ganjam district on Sunday.
The collision occurred after the helmsmen lost control over the boats following high tide and heavy mist.
All 18 fishermen were rescued later while four of them sustained minor injury.
According to IIC, Gopalpur Mr Bibek Mohanto in early morning two boats and fishing net lost worth lakhs of rupees got damaged in the accident. Four injured fisherman shifted to Hospital for treatment.
