Operation all-Out – Drive against anti-social Elements by Berhampur Police

Berhampur:Police, on Tuesday late night arrested 2 criminals with arm and ammunition during checking at different location of Berhampur city under B.N.Pur Police limit.
Berhampur Police Superintendent, Pinak Mishra especially instructed to all Police station Office in Charge under his police district “To ensure Operation all out by conducting drive against anti-social elements from grassroots and make the police distrct totally crime free”. We carried out the drive last couple of days and to till end.
According to the police, SDPO, (City) Bishnu Pati at late night information said, during the special drive against anti socials and criminals, acting on a tip off by B.N.Pur police few anti-socials were assembled at Hadi Sahi of Khodasingi and planning for criminal activity. The police team led by Inspector in Charge, Sarada Dash with his team immediately responded and hit the location as a result of which two hard core and most wanted criminal namely Tuna Nayak (39) and Diba Nayak (45) are apprehended red handed with a fire arm.
In this connection B.N.Pur police registered a case no 70 dt.17.3.21 u/s 307/324/34 IPC/r.w Sec 25(1-B)(a)/27 IPC.The Further investigation is continuing.
