Berhampur Cop arrested Fraudster for Duping Unemployed Youths

Berhampur: Baidyanathpur Police, Berhampur arrested a fraudster for duping the unemployed youths after call to mind and assured them of giving employment as Security Guard to watch the mobile tower of different mobile service providers a tune of monthly salary of Rs. 10,000/- to Rs.12,000/-for Caretaker (Security Guard) and Rs. 18,000/- to Rs.20,000/- for Supervisor.
The fraudster identified as Basanta Kumar Mallik (41) S/o Panchanana Mallik of village Saradhapur, under Dharakote police limit, Ganjam, Odisha.
Mallik has been arrested in Baidyanathpur PS case No 60dt.08.03.2021 U/s 417/419/420/465/468/471/34 IPC has been registered on the strength of written report of Anuj Rath of Paralakhemundi.
According to Police, the accused Basanta Kumar Mallik who falsely identified himself as The Managing Director of Maxysis Outsources Pvt.Ltd., having his Head Office at GGP Colony Mancheswar Bhubaneswar and Branch Office at Golapalli Street under B.N.Pur area, Berhampur.
Being induced by the false assurance of Basanta Kumar Mallik about 700 to 800 job aspirants deposited an amount of Rs.25,00,000/- in the office of Maxysis Outsources Pvt.Ltd at Golapalli Sahi.The accused issued money receipt to the Supervisors and some other job aspirants as authorized signatory of the Maxysis Outsources Pvt.Ltd.
During investigation conducted so far it is learnt that Kamalini Pradhan and Sasmita Swain are the enlisted Directors of the above company.
Notably, the investigation reveal that, the accused is no way concerned with the affairs of the company but he has cheated the people by issuing forged appointment letter and money receipts to the job aspirants.
Further, investigation of the case is in progress.
