Berhampur:On the strength of search warrant issued by Spl. Judge, Vigilance,
Berhampur Vigilance team arranged a raid a very planned manner on Tuesday at six places of K.Nageswar Senapati,Jr.Engineer, Rayagada Block in Gajapati in proper guidance of SP,Vigilance Santanu Padhi.
They raided at the residential double storied building in the name of his wife Smt. K.Susmita Senapati located at Jagannath Vihar, Paralakhemundi, Fly Ash Brick manufacturing Unit stands in the name of Smt. K.Susmita Senapati and two other as business partners located at Minigam Mauza,residential house of Chinari Rama Chandra Patro, brother-in-law of accuse K.Nageswar Senapati located at Flat No.301,2nd Floor, Niyati Golden Tower near Sidhi Binayak Temple, Berhampur, Paternal house located at village Kulada, under Dharakote police station,Ganjam,Office Chamber located in Rayagada Block Office, and Govt.residential quarter located at Rayagada Block Office premises were searched simultaneously to trace the movable/ immovable assets possessed by Sri Senapati and his family members.
During Search the following movable / immovable assets are found in possession of S.O. Sri K.Nageswar Senapati, S/o Late Raju Senapati working as Jr.Engineer Rayagada Block, in Gajapati district and his family members.
Immovable Assets: Cost of one double storied building constructed over Plot No.745 Rs.36,46,576/and 746 at Jagannath Vihar, Paralakhemundi in the name of his wife Smt. K.Susmita Senapati,(Construction Ground floor-2006 and first floor-2012),Share of one Fly Ash Brick manufacturing unit,Rs.21,92,164, Cost of 08 nos. of Plot stands in the name of Smt. K.Susmita Rs. 7,55,505/-, Share of 02 nos. Plot stands in the name of Smt. K.Susmita Rs. 29,000/-Senapati and two other business partners, Cost of one Plot at Sundarpada Mouza under DSR Khurda Rs.16,988/-total Rs. 66,40,233/-.
Apart of the Household articles Rs.4,69 459107. Hard cash Rs. 60,90.640/- Cost of one Yamaha Fascino Scooty Rs.10,32,000,one Swift Desire Car and one Passion Pro Motor Cycle in the name of SO Sri K.Nageswar Senapati.
Deposits in different Banks in the name of SO, his wife and son Rs. 66,89,271/-Gold ornaments worth 233.03 Gms,Rs. 4,03,0907,Silver Ornamental articles;833 Gms Rs.25,030 which total comes Rs.1,47,09,490/- and the Grand Total – Rs.2,13,49,723/- (Rs.66,40,233/- + Rs.1,47,09,490/-).
Notably, SO Senapati entered into Odisha Govt. service in the year 1997 as Jr.
Engineer. Presently, he is working at Rayagada Block, Dist-Gajapati.Further enquiry is going on to unearth more assets and other substantial.
