77th. Independence Day celebrated in HAL Township , Sunabeda

Sunabeda: The 77th. Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic fervor here. The day started with the alluring nationalistic slogans by the school children in Prabhat Pheri. The main function was organised at the HAL stadium. General Manager, HAL (Koraput Division) Sudhanshu Mohan Jena unfurled the National Flag.Addressing the gathering , Mr. Jena elaborated on the theme ” Nation First, Always First” and paid homage to the countless freedom fighters of our country. He added, HAL has played an important role in strengthening the Defense sector of the country and all should make sincere efforts to convert our country as a developed nation by 2047. Mr. Jena also highlighted about the various steps taken by the HAL Koraput Division towards the development of the local people General Manager Sudhanshu Mohan Jena administered the oath to serve the motherland to all under the programme ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh .” G M HAL Sukhei Engine Division G K Thacker, GM HAL Engine Division S K Patra , DGM, HR Department Bhawani Shankar Sha and other higher officials were present on the occasion.
A spectacular parade was organized in which 9 contingents of different organizations participated. HAL Training and Development centre’s contingent adjudged as the best, Girl’s contingent of Aeronautics DAV school was bagged the first runners-up while Girl’s contingent of Aeronautics college adjudged as the second runners-up of the March Past Parade. Different educational institutions and social organizations also celebrated this national festival. In V S Vidyalaya Principal B K Mishra hoisted the National Flag . Like wise, in Aeronautics College Principal Dipak Kumar Das and in Aeronautics DAV High School Head Master Pradeep Kumar Mishra unfurled the National Flag and senior teachers of the school attended the programme.
