75th Independence Day Celebrated in Sunabeda

Sunabeda: 16/08/2021 The 75th Independence Day was celebrated with nationalistic commitment in Sunabeda. The main function was organised at the HAL stadium. Executive Director, HAL (Koraput Division) Jeetendra Mohan Sahu hoisted the National Flag and higher officers of HAL attended the programme. Different educational institutions and social organizations also celebrated this national festival. In V S Vidyalaya Principal Hemant Kumar Seth hoisted the National Flag and Vice Principals and teachers were present. Like wise, in ADAV High School Head Master Manoranjan Pradhan hoisted the National Flag and all the teachers of the school attended the programme.
The members of Aeronautics Muslim Cultural Association organised a special programme in their office premises. President of the association Shaik Ibrahim hoisted the national flag and senior office bearers of the association Abu Kamal, Tanveer Alam, Tanveer Ahmed, Muntazir Ahmed, Sk Kamruddin and others were present. Members of the Koraput District Association of the Deaf also organised the function at their Community Centre, Subhashnagar Advisor of the association Shaheda Parween unfurled the national flag. Advisor of the association Bhubaneswar Patnaik, President Shaik Ibrahim, Secretary Chintamani Prusty, Interpreter Meena Kumari Prusty along with other office bearers and members from the undivided Koraput district joined the programme. The youth group of nearby Chapsil village has organized the national function with patriotic fervor. Eminent educationist Dr uma Sankar Prasad Patra attended the function as Chief Guest and unfurled the national flag. Social activists Vijay Kumar Sahu and Gobinda Ballav Padhi graced the occasion as guest of Honour. Prize winners of different competitions awarded with prizes while service providers of the village were felicitated in the function. Young Social activist Nabin Kr Choudhury and Nabin Golari coordinated the entire programme.
