72nd Republic Day celebrated in Sunabeda

Sunabeda: 27/01/21 The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervor adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines. The main function was organised at the HAL stadium. Executive Director, HAL (Koraput Division) Jeetendra Mohan Sahu unfurled the National Flag and higher officers of HAL attended the programme. Different educational institutions and social organizations also celebrated this national festival. In V S Vidyalaya Principal Hemant Kumar Seth unfurled the National Flag and Vice Principals and teachers were present. Like wise, in ADAV High School Head Master Manoranjan Pradhan unfurled the National Flag and all the teachers of the school attended the programme.
The members of Aeronautics Muslim Cultural Association organised a special programme in their office premises. President of the association Shaik Ibrahim unfurled the national flag and highlighted the contribution of many unsung Heroes of India’s freedom movement. Senior office bearers of the association Tanveer Alam. Tausif Alam, Md Ayaz , Tanveer Ahmed and others were present. Members of the Koraput District Association of the Deaf also organised the function at their Community Centre, Subhashnagar President of the association Shaik Ibrahim unfurled the national flag. Advisors of the association Dr Uma Sankar Prasad Patra, Bhubaneswar Patnaik,Secretary Chintamani Prusty, Interpreter Meena Kumari Prusty along with other office bearers and members from the undivided Koraput district joined the programme.
