70 KGS GANJA SEIZED AT ADAVA OF GAJAPATI BY POLICE

GAJAPATI,(Mohana):Adava Police has another successful venture seizing ganja.On Corona those Police staff have stringent role at inter-district border point.At night while patrolling they cordoned an auto where 2 persons with father & son were there.

Surprisingly 3 gunny bags of ganja was loaded for transport. Meanwhile that auto(OD 07 6737) seized with 70 kgs of ganja.Both  father(Satrughan Nayak -50) & son(Srikant Nayak -27) were taken to custody by duty bound SI Ujjal Pradhan where Mohana Tehsildar Kalyani Sanghamitra Devi also present.

They referred to court for further action.Under the direction of SP Sarah Sharma vivid patrolling is on at every Naka point & all road communication areas.

As the peak areas of Ganja transportation this is a scope for smugglers to whisk away such red-tapism act. But strict vigil foiling number of times even ID liquor too seized several times by local Police.Despite headache on Corona, security tightened not to slip such  under current due to strong duty bound by Tehsildar Mohana & well supported by Mohana & Adava Police limits.
