Talcher:The continuous price hike in Diesel, Petrol and LPG is very much affected the day to day livelihood of the common society. Having understood the precarious condition of the continuous price hike of the petroleum products, the economy of the state and the nation are hugely impressed and the price of other daily consumables come to high of its level.

All Odisha six hour BANDH was observed under the leadership of Congress State President Niranjan Patanaik and it affects the normal life at Talcher, all schools, colleges and other educational institutions, Banks, Petrol pumps, business houses, shops , vegetable markets, Govt. offices were remain closed. Trucks, Passenger vehicles and Goods trains, Passenger trains were not moved.

The production and inward transportation of coal in the mines of MCL.Were severely hit due to absent of mining workers. A team of Congress workers were moved in the town and its periphery to the business community not to open their business houses and shops from early in the morning.

Among others senior congress leader Gyanaranjan Pani, Trade Union leader Digambar Garanaik, Sarat Chandra Pradhan, Suresh Chandra Behera, Dasarathi Sahoo, HadibandhuBiswal, KeshabBhutia, Rajkishore Sahoo, Bajarang Agarwal, ManasBai, Jinesh Sahoo, Pushpak Swain were lead in this BANDH.
