53rd NATIONAL SAFETY WEEK CAMPAIGN INAUGURATED AT JK PAPER MILLS, RAYAGADA
Rayagada, (Odishabarta): Like every year, JK Paper Mills, Rayagada is observing the 53rd National Safety Week 2024 in its factory premises at Jaykaypur to enhance Safety awareness among the employees, school children and housewives in the colony. The weeklong observance was inaugurated in an august gathering with great enthusiasm by hoisting the National Safety flag by Chitta Ranjan Beura, Deputy Director of Factories & Boilers, Rayagada Division along with MRKM Roy, Sr.GM (Mechanical) & G.S. Patnaik, GM (Quality Control) on last Monday. Safety Pledge was administered by Rama Ranjan Biswal, Sr.Manager(Safety) which the employees followed to do everything possible for the prevention of accidents, occupational diseases and protection of the environment in the interest of the Nation.
Dy.Director of F&B, C.R.Beura emphasized on the planning for the safe execution of all the jobs demonstrating leadership. R.K.M Roy stressed on maintaining good safety practices and striving for further improvement. G.S Patnaik enlightened on the theme of the year which is “Focus on Safety Leadership for ESG Excellence.
Senior Manager (Safety) Rama Ranjan Biswal, announced various safety promotional training programmes and competitions to be held during the week and appealed to all the employees to participate. The valedictory function of the safety week will be celebrated on 12th March 2024.
