375 kg Ganja seized by Jaipatna Police 2 persons from Ampani PS area arrested

Bhawanipatna:Based on an information about smuggling Ganja , a police team was formed under the leadership of Sri Narayan Nayak, OPS DSP Hdqrs, Sri Dhirej K Chopdar, OPS SDPO Dharmagarh. The police team intercepted a Bolero Vehicle No.OD-02-H-3773 with accused 1. Labanya Chhatria (49) s/o Banamali Chhatria of Kaudala village under Ampani PS and 2. Kasanu Naik (52) s/o Meghu Naik vill.Barhaguda PS Ampani , Kalahandi.The culprits were transporting ganja illegally procuring the same from Andhra Pradesh border. Total 375 kg Ganja was seized from their possession. The case is under investigation.
