3 Robbers Arrested In Theft Cases by Berhampur Sadar Police

Berhampur: In a major breakthrough, Berhampur Sadar police claim to have busted a maojor theft cases in Sadar area following the arrest of 3 robbers.

The accused persons have identified as Krishna Gouda (22 Yrs)) of Katak Nagar Sahi, Lathi, PS-B.Sadar,Chandan Bhuyan (21 Yrs) Managala Sahi, Lathi, PS-B.Sadar and Bahadur @ Papun Jena (21 Yrs), of Mangala Sahi, Lathi, PS-B.Sadar, Dist-Ganjam.
Stating the modus operandi of the criminals, police said On the Complain report of complainant Kanhu Charan Gouda (27) S/o Amulya Gouda of village Lathi, Gouda Sahi, PS-B.Sadar, Dist-Ganjam the above noted case has been registered and investigation into. During investigation the above noted accused persons arrested on 23.02.2022 at 11.00 AM and interrogated. During interrogation the accused persons confessed that, On 13/14.02.2022 mid night they committed theft of one laptop, 13 mobile phones and other mobile accessories by breaking open the ventilator of the Ganapati Mobile store situated at Kataki Nagar Sahi, Lathi. Seized the above noted stolen articles from accused Krishna Gouda in presence of witnesses in a compost heap in the back side of accused house at Katak Nagar Sahi, Lathi. The above three accused persons are being forwarded to the court today. Investigation of the case is in progress. The above noted accused persons are habitual offenders and involved in some previous cases.
