3 Nabbed for Murder of Woman at Gajapati District

Paralakhemundi – At Karan street of Paralakhemundi on 20th February one Sarojini Patnaik killed by a gang on early hours. Case registered at Paralakhemundi Model Police Station by Sasmita Kumari Patnaik wife of Pradip Patnaik of Karan street. Accordingly case 20/24 registered at said police station. Investigation started by Parala police.With the help of CCTV evidence tried to collect no sooner.Detail investigation started where suspect brewed on local street person’s involvement.For interrogation where 3 persons taken into custody entire story of killing disclosed.
On 21/22 January, midnight some persons entered into the residence of Sarojini Patnaik & tried to steal ornaments & cash.As those persons were known by the deceased, so to undisclose their vigil stand they tried to kill the woman.They forcibly entered the home & tried to squeeze her neck after stealing gold ornaments & cash from her home.With ornaments like Tulsi mali,earing,one finger ring,5 bangels & committed murder of that woman.Later they fled away through backyard.Before leaving they poured chilli powder to seize all evidence.
As belonged to both Odisha & Andhrapradesh. police started investigation through cctv at various places eg;Paralakhemundi, Hiramandalam, Sarabjhuli,Pathapatnam, Srikakulam & other places.The movement & activities of suspect grown up for further signal to trace out culprits.As a result Prateek Patnaik & Amit Patnaik neighbors of the deceased woman traced out.With the help of one Daud Jena from whom stolen gold & cash seized.Stolen gold recovered from Manapuram gold loan Ltd at Srikakulam of Andhrapradesh.The same will be produced before Court as per gold loan bank norms.4 mobile sets recovered from those convicts.All accused arrested & forwarded to Court. Investigation is under process.
