20 Kg Gold, Bag Full of Cash Seized From Woman During Fraud Case Investigation in Puri
Puri: Police seized around 20 kilogram of gold and a bag full of cash from a woman during the investigation of a cheating case in Puri district.
The woman has been detained by the police for further investigation. The gold and cash was seized from her house in Chandanpur area of Puri district on Monday evening.
Apart from around 20 kg gold ornaments, a trolley bag packed with Rs 500 denomination currency notes were seized from her possession.
The detained woman has been identified as one Tilottama Pradhan. Some of her family members have also been taken into custody for interrogation.
Police are probing the case and details are awaited.
