Paralakhemundi-At Utkal Hiteishini Samaj premises 154th birthday of Late Gopinath Nanda observed by Odisha Sahitya Academy,where Bichitrananda Bebarta member of Odisha Sahitya Academy presided.Graced as chief guest Dr. Prasanna Kumar Swain,HOD of Odia department of Brahmapur University praised for the efforts to remember those legends of Odia literature who not only brought their incredible feat for Paralakhemundi but also for whole Odia community.Among them Gopinath Nanda scripted Odia dictionary & grammar which is an epic volume still today. Parala Maharaja too extolled scope for such befeating writings to create an image for Odia literature.Being bilingual region with both Odia & Telugu,still his immence attempt to deliver Odia literature,which highlighted by Gopabandhu Das, Nilakantha Das,Dr. Mayadhar Mansingh & others.As chief speaker Purnachandra Mahapatra quipped his analysis through Bharat Darpan on Sarala Mahabharata. Binod Chandra Jena as guest of honor, Bharat Bhusan Mahanty & Narasingha Guru also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Kalyani Mishra welcomed the guests & Snigdha Mishra conveyed vote of thanks.DPriyanka & her team performed Odissi & Mahari dance.
