10 nabbed for gambling in Berhampur

Berhampur:Atleast 10people, have been arrested as a major gambling dens were busted at Kharavel Nagar under Sadar Police station limit,police said.
Acting on inputs, the police raided at Kharvel Nagar places in the silk city over the past two days and seized over Rs.4, 25, 270 /- , playing cards, 11 mobile phones & 3 motor cycles.
The suspects were nabbed from the houses, where they were playing card games and stringent action would be taken against those who practise gambling by violating the law Superintendent of Police, Dr Saravana Vivek,M,said.
