Berhampur:A 10-day long 10th. Mahanagar Mahotsav-2022 was inaugurated by Brahmapur University and Khalikote College Univeristy Vice Cnacellors M.P. Mr Chandrasekhar Sahu at the KK College play ground here on Monday.Sakala daily edition head Jagganmohan Mohapatra, Scribes from different media house,Chief advisor Er.Uma Shankar Panigrahy, Journalist Manoj Kanta Dash,Samir Acharya,Sudip Sahu,Secretary of Mahotsav Committe Gopal Patnaik,Narayan Mahankuda,President ,Jt.Secretary Ms.Rashmita Panigrahy were on stage while Chief Speakker Jaggan Mohan Mohaptra addressig to te huge audience from stage he said the city has given birth many talents in various activities.After lightening the Holy Deep before lord Jagannath the Chief Guest announced “Now the Mahotsav -2022 Opens”.. The guests said the Mahotsav would create an identity for Brahmapur.
On the occasion, talents from various organisation performed like Odishi, Sambalpuri,Modern Dance, Short act play Star dance group performed different dance forms. In the festial, 120 stalls of different States have participated.
